As a new student driver, this video really helped me a lot to understand when to check the mirrors and its steps. My driving instructor didn't explain further because of language barrier. I really hope that all instructors from non-English countries could at least explain in basic English.

So howcome i failed for doing 40 in a 60 when it wasnt safe to do 60? Also i thought if the examinor touches the brakes its an instand fail????

It’s true I am taking lessons about round about today my instructor is very angry at me I am driving very good normally but when I do roundabout I forgot which lane I need to go don’t know why😢

What was the instructor thinking? People do not always observe priorities. He should have seen the two cars on his left approaching the same point and predicted the mini could take avoiding action without using either their mirror or indicator. I would not have overtaken on by the slip road when there was a car on it and another in the inside lane. This “instructor” should not be instructing.

Following advice from "roadcraft" and police trained examiners, FIRST exit indicate left on approach, LAST exit indicate right on approach, all other exits (intermediate) no signal on approach. Signal left passing penultimate exit.

What's more satifying is when you know the timing of your local traffic lights when they change, I swear some people floor it and brake as late as possible. Then they wait for the lights to change. Meanwhile I lift and roll towards the lights at a gentle pace, and the the lights change to amber and green in perfect time for me. All thr while saving on fuel. Eco-driving is the best.

I failed my first test for the same reason as person 1. In my defense the road was VERY poorly sign posted

whatever happened, if he was going the same way as that piss head on the bike he would have failed 100%. It's always the same lol. Even if he didn't overtake before the junction, if they were both going left, something else would have happened to result in a 'serious' fault/failure. People basically only tend to fail tests because there's a situation involving a moron of some sort of the road lol. Seen it a million times

A couple of minutes rushing for 30 miles is hours saved over a lifetime. But a mistake made when rushing then you (or worse still someone's child) won't have a lifetime.

When reversing back in the video the guy did not look back through the back window? So can we use the rear view mirror to look back and side mirror on the test to keep align to the kerb? Been told to look back through the back window or be fail? Thanks

Clutch down when pulling into the right or just be in a low gear, turn right then clutch down when putting into first?

what happens if u fail to know the show and tell (question they ask on your driving test in the car such as can you tell me how to change the oil etc) would you fail the test i.e a serious fault or just a minor?

Tricky situation because it looks like there are no pedestrians on the pavement but as she approaches the crossing a pedestrian shows up .. but if the learner were driving at a speed that allowed her to stop safely everything would be fine . The fault here is fail to respond to road marks . We all been there 😢
